Mount Gambier Bowls Club is the oldest regional club in South Australia, celebrating it's 100th year in 2004. The club was the first in South Australia to offer a Greengage synthetic carpet green which has significantly boosted the club's members ability to play bowls despite most weather conditions. The green has a regular pace of fifteen seconds and has an accurate flatness throughout. The club has three synthetic greens with lights on two greens providing for night bowls.
