The Office of Sport’s Western Region delivers a range of services and initiatives that encourage greater participation in sport and recreation across Western NSW.With offices in Dubbo, Orange and Tamworth, we work in partnership with government and non-government agencies to support and promote community health and wellbeing.We also facilitate community sport club committees and sporting competitions and assist a range of peak sports bodies to deliver sports programs to north, west and far west remote communities. Some of these include targeted Indigenous sport programs, senior adult health and lifestyle programs, club and volunteer development, programs for people with disability and sport and water safety.These programs are designed to increase participation, build capacity and strengthen the community as a whole.Online club management resource, Community Club Toolkit, is also managed by the Western Region.
